About
A nourishing nosh for the soul—this course is your grounding practice buffet designed specifically for anxious Jews seeking relief and resilience. Led by Hannah Kanter, LICSW, LMSW, CYT, Founder & CEO of Help for Anxious Jews, this program offers ten evidence-based practices that blend therapeutic wisdom with cultural understanding. We don't have blintzes, but we do have breathing exercises designed to reset your neurotic nervous system—and that's just the beginning. Whether you're seeking relief from daily stressors or looking to deepen your emotional well-being, this course empowers you with tools to stay present, centered, and connected. You'll learn how to anchor yourself in the moment, reconnect with your surroundings, and find calm amid chaos. What You'll Learn: - Reconnect with your surroundings: Sensory mindfulness techniques to ground yourself anywhere, anytime - Breathe and reset: Breathing practices that reset your nervous system - Body-focused practices: Movement, stretching, and self-soothing touch (yes, we're getting touchy/feely) - Create space from what's upsetting: Mental strategies to separate from distressing thoughts and emotions These practices can be done in any order—one per day, some per day, or all of them in a day. From quick 2-minute exercises you can do at your desk to more immersive 10-minute practices for deeper reset, you'll build a personalized toolkit that works for your life. Drawing from DBT, EMDR, yoga, and trauma-informed care, the practices engage all five senses and accommodate a full range of physical abilities. Join a community that understands your experience and celebrates your growth. Take the first step toward a calmer, more joyful you—because you deserve to kvell, not just cope.
